Manufacturing Lab

Manufacturing Lab (Lucus 155) host the lab sessions for INEN 3322 Engineering Materials and Processes and INEN 4345 Computer Integrated Manufacturing. INEN 3322 is offered in both fall and spring semesters to about 80 students per year from the Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The lab offers:

  • 13 lathes
  • three CNC mill,
  • three drills,
  • one band saw
  • and other equipment

The students are exposed to the hands-on training in various machining processes, such as turning, facing, taper turning, drilling, milling, slotting, and tapping.

INEN 4345 is offered every spring semester with about 20 students. The lab session gives students training on CNC programming.  The lab is about 1,760 ft2.
