Teacher STEM Seminar
The College of Engineering would like be more of a partner to K-12. In doing so, we are looking to partner with teachers in order to provide cutting edge content and applications to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists. Working with teachers is an excellent way to serve K-12 and increase the STEM pipeline.
As part of these efforts, the Colleges of Engineering is hosting a “STEM seminar”. The idea is to have an outstanding day of interactive experiential learning while exposing you to real science at a Carnegie Doctoral Research University. This is event is sponsored by BASF TOTAL petrochemicals
It is especially beneficial for those teachers at the 9-12th grade level whose focus or concentration lies within the STEM area.
